Azure Span Dragon Glyphs offer a unique way to customize your abilities in World of Warcraft's Dragonflight expansion.
These glyphs are tied to the Azure Span, a massive dragon that serves as a hub for players to access various activities and features.
To unlock the Azure Span Dragon Glyphs, you'll need to complete the "Ember of the Titans" questline.
This involves defeating the Ember of the Titans, a powerful dragon that guards the Azure Span.
Glyph Locations
The Azure Span is a vast region, and the Dragon Glyphs can be tricky to find. In fact, they're often tucked away in hard-to-reach places, making it a challenge to collect them all.
To make things easier, here are the locations of the 12 Dragon Glyphs in The Azure Span region:
Remember, the order of the Glyphs is just a suggestion to help you glide from one to the next using the height of one Glyph to reach the next. Feel free to collect them in any order you like!
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Isles Glyph Locations
The Azure Span is a challenging region to find Dragon Glyphs, as they're often hidden in plain sight. The region has 12 glyphs, each with its own unique location.
To start, let's tackle the Rhonin's Shield Glyph, which is located just south of the flight point. You'll need to dive in from the side and enter through a collapsed opening to collect it.
The ideal order for exploring the regions is: The Waking Shores, Ohn'ahran Plains, The Azure Span, and Thaldraszus. However, feel free to tackle them however you see fit.
Here's a list of all the locations for the 12 Dragon Glyphs in The Azure Span region:
The Azure Span Dragon Glyph locations are scattered across the region, with some hiding in plain sight. The Zelthrak Outpost Glyph, for example, is hidden among the branches and leaves of a tall tree directly to the left of the hub area.
Windsong Rise
Windsong Rise is a Glyph located above a raised hill with a distinctive swirl pattern in the ground.
To reach this Glyph, you have a couple of options. You can use multiple Skyward Ascent uses from the ground, or you can glide down from Glyph 10 without needing to use any charges of vigor.
The swirl pattern in the ground is a notable feature of the area where Windsong Rise is located.
This Glyph is accessible without needing to use any charges of vigor if you glide down from Glyph 10.
Tyrhold
Tyrhold is home to one of the Dragon Glyphs, located on a floating rock next to the enormous structure.
Reaching the glyph from Glyph 5 requires 5-6 charges of Skyward Ascent.
Alternatively, if you're on the floor of Tyrhold, it'll take less Skyward Ascent charges to reach the zone, but you'll need to use charges to get in.
Temporal Conflux
The Temporal Conflux glyph is located inside the top of the tower, just below the rooftop. This means you'll need to climb high to reach it, so be prepared for a Skyward Ascent or two.
You can access this glyph quickly if you've already collected all the available glyphs and have come from Glyph 11. Just dive down straight towards the tower and you'll be there in no time.
Mountain and Observatory Locations
The Azure Span region of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is home to 12 Dragon Glyphs, and knowing their locations can be a big help. You can find them in various areas, including The Fallen Course.
To get to the fourth Dragon Glyph, head to Stormsunder Mountain on the East of The Forbidden Reach. It's slightly hidden behind a rock close to the top right side of the mountain.
Here are the locations for the 12 Dragon Glyphs in the Azure Span region:
Stormsunder Mountain
Stormsunder Mountain is a great spot for finding Dragon Glyphs.
The fourth Glyph is located on the East side of The Forbidden Reach, situated towards the top of the mountain and slightly hidden behind a rock close to the top right side of the mountain.
To reach this Glyph, you can fly mostly level from Talonlord's Perch and use Skyward Ascent to reach the ledge.
Flying in this direction, the Glyph will be partially hidden behind a spikey part of the mountain.
Life-Binder Observatory
The Life-Binder Observatory is a great place to explore, and I've found it's best to approach it after completing the previous glyph. You'll need to save some Vigor to use multiple Skyward Ascent charges, making it a good idea to recharge at a ledge or platform before heading up.
The location of the Life-Binder Observatory is on the roof, so be prepared for a bit of a climb. If you're coming directly from Glyph 5, you can glide all the way down to this one, which can save you some time and energy.
To get the most out of your visit, be mindful of your Vigor levels and plan accordingly.
Mirror of the Sky
The Mirror of the Sky is a great spot to check out, and it's actually connected to the Dragon Glyphs. You can glide directly from Glyph 8 to reach this location and save a few vigor charges.
You can access the Mirror of the Sky by gliding from Glyph 8, which is a convenient shortcut.
Forkriver Crossing
Forkriver Crossing is a great spot to find a Dragon Glyph. This glyph is located near the Forkriver Crossing camp on the road to The Azure Span.
To access it, you'll need to use Skyward Ascent from the ground, as it's low to the ground. The glyph is listed under The Azure Span achievement, but don't let that fool you - it's actually situated between Ohn'ahran Plains and The Azure Span.
You'll see it on the Ohn'ahran Plains map, but if you want it to show up on The Azure Span map, use the /way The Azure Span:Dragon Isles 36.55 28.15.
The Fallen Course
The Fallen Course is a significant location in the vast expanse of the mountain and observatory world. It's situated near a broken bridge between The Azure Span and Thaldraszus.
South Hold Gate
The South Hold Gate is a great spot to explore. The Dragon Glyph is located in the second highest tower next to the gate.
To access the glyph, you'll need to use multiple Skyward Ascent charges to reach it from the floor. It's situated inside the top of the tower, just below the rooftop.
You should wait in the tower to recharge your Vigor before heading to the next location.
Gelikyr Overlook
Gelikyr Overlook is a great spot to visit, especially if you're looking to access the Dragon Glyph. This glyph is located just above the bridge near Gelikyr Overlook.
If you come directly from Glyph 3, you can glide all the way down to this one.
