Finding and destroying Ghost and Shadow dropboxes in Fortnite can be a challenge, but understanding their characteristics is key. They are usually found in high-risk areas and have a distinctive blue outline.
Ghost dropboxes are stationary and appear as a small, blue cube with a ghostly glow. They have a moderate amount of health and are relatively easy to destroy.
Shadow dropboxes, on the other hand, are mobile and appear as a small, blue cube with a shadowy aura. They have more health than Ghost dropboxes and are harder to destroy.
To destroy these dropboxes, you'll need to use the right tools and strategies.
What Are Ghost and Shadow Dropboxes?
To get a special light or dark skin variant of TNTina, you'll need to destroy two Ghost or Shadow Dropboxes.
These dropboxes are only accessible after reaching Battle Pass tier 22 and completing at least 18 TNTina's Trial Challenges.
You can destroy Ghost Dropboxes to earn a darker skin or Shadow Dropboxes for a white design.
All you need to do is use an explosive weapon while wearing the TNTina skin to destroy two of these dropboxes.
Destroying Dropboxes

To destroy dropboxes in Fortnite, you'll need to complete three tasks beforehand: buying the Battle Pass, reaching Battle Pass Level 40, and completing 18 TNTina Challenges. This will unlock the ability to choose between Ghost and Shadow boxes.
You'll need to blow up two of these boxes, but don't worry, they can be found in just about any named location. I've personally seen them in Steamy Stacks, where we completed the challenge.
To find the dropboxes, check out these locations: Steamy Stacks, Pleasant Park, Sweaty Sands, Salty Springs, Holly Hedges, Slurpy Swamp, Misty Meadows, Lazy Lake, and Retail Row. You can also try other named locations, as they seem to appear there as well.
Shadow boxes have a dark color, while Ghost ones are white, so make sure to check the color before blowing them up.
Legendary Dropboxes
To deliver Legendaries, you need to drop them off at a Shadow or Ghost Dropbox location. These locations are crucial for unlocking the different skin variants, such as Midas in a black suit or a white suit.
You've got two options for delivering Legendaries: Shadow Dropbox and Ghost Dropbox. Each one will give you a unique skin variant for Midas.
To choose between the two, you need to decide which skin variant you prefer. Do you want Midas in a black suit or a white suit?
Legendaries can be delivered to a Dropbox location in two ways: by finding them or crafting them. Either way, you'll need to drop them off at a Shadow or Ghost Dropbox location to unlock the desired skin variant.
The choice between Shadow and Ghost Dropbox is a key part of the process. It determines which skin variant you'll get for Midas.
