Important Announcements and Software Updates

We've got some important announcements and software updates to share with you. The latest version of our popular productivity software, ProMax, is now available for download. This update includes several bug fixes and performance improvements.

One of the key changes in the new version is the addition of a new feature called "SmartTask", which allows you to prioritize your tasks more efficiently. This feature has been highly requested by our users and we're excited to finally make it available.

The new version of ProMax also includes a revamped user interface, making it easier to navigate and find the features you need. This update is free for all existing users and can be downloaded from our website.

We've also made some changes to our online support system, making it easier to get help when you need it. Our new support portal allows you to search for answers to common questions, as well as submit tickets to our support team.

Important Announcements can be created and edited by global and tenant administrators in Omnia Admin. They can also add users or permission groups to create important announcements using the "Permissions" option.

To edit an important announcement, you can update its Type and Status, and even republish it for users who have closed it.

If comments are allowed for an announcement, you can read them by clicking the icon.

To manage important announcements effectively, you need to have the right permissions. Global and tenant administrators can add or edit Important Announcements in Omnia Admin.

To grant other users the ability to create important announcements, you can use the "Permissions" option to add users or permission groups.

The tenant feature "Omnia Important Announcements" must be activated to access the Important Announcements administration page. This page displays the history of all important announcements published in the tenant.

You can tag an important announcement with a Type and a Status. This allows you to track and manage announcements more efficiently.

If comments are allowed for an announcement, you can read them by clicking the icon.

To make the most of your High Priority Announcements, you can customize the settings to fit your needs.

You can set the poll interval to as low as 1 minute, but the default is 5 minutes. This means that the page will check for new announcements every 5 minutes, or as often as you specify.

The background and text colors can be customized, but it's recommended to use the Theme colors in Omnia Admin for consistency. If you still want to use custom colors, you can set them using the Background color and Text color options.

The Background color and Text color options can be used if you want to deviate from the default theme colors.

The IdenTrust DST Root CA X3 Expiration is a significant update you should be aware of. It expired on September 30, 2021.

The good news is that it has been replaced with a new root, the IdenTrust Commercial Root CA 1, which has been trusted by major browsers and root stores since January 16, 2014.

The Pell recalculation date is a crucial deadline for students receiving federal Pell Grants, and it's essential to know when it falls. The Pell Recalculation Date Policy applies to eligibility of the Federal Pell Grant only.

For the Summer 2024 semester, the Pell recalculation date is 11:59pm, Sunday, 6/16/24. If you add courses after this date, they won't count towards your Federal Pell Grant eligibility, regardless of the start date.

To avoid any issues with your financial aid package, make sure to check the Pell Recalculation Date Policy for your specific semester. The dates for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 are 9/8/24 and 2/9/25, respectively.

If you drop, withdraw from, or don't attend classes you were enrolled in, your Pell Grant may be adjusted. This could result in you having to repay your financial aid if funding has already disbursed.

You can log in to StudentAid.gov using your FSAID to find information about your federal student loans. Contacting your loan service provider is also an option.

Your student loan servicer is the company responsible for managing your federal student loans. You can learn who your servicer is by visiting the Federal Student Aid website.
