Dropbox Showcase is a powerful tool for creating visually stunning presentations and pitches. It allows you to upload your files, add text and images, and customize the layout to make a lasting impression.
With Showcase, you can create up to 10 projects, each with its own unique theme, layout, and content. This makes it easy to tailor your presentations to different audiences and purposes.
Showcase is accessible from any device, so you can work on your presentations anywhere, anytime. This flexibility is especially useful for teams and individuals who need to collaborate on projects remotely.
By using Dropbox Showcase, you can save time and effort compared to traditional presentation software, and still achieve professional-looking results.
Pricing
Dropbox Professional comes with a price tag of $19.99 a month or $199 a year, which includes 1TB of storage.
The plan also offers the ability to recover old versions or restore deleted files from the last 120 days.
Box.com, a competitor, costs only $15 a month, but it has fewer features.
Dropbox Professional's pricing is worth considering, especially if you need the extra storage and features it offers.

Workflow and Transfer
You can arrange your files in exactly the way you want, with no restrictions on how they're organized.
This flexibility is a major plus, especially if you have a lot of files to display. The arrangement of files is pretty darn cool, and it's easy to add context with an intro message and file captions.
However, it's worth noting that you can't make folders or different pages, so everything will be on the main page. This might be a drawback for some users, but it's still a great option for showcasing your files.
Step 2: File Transfer
File Transfer is a straightforward process that can be completed in a few easy steps. You can connect your Dropbox account to your Showcase Workshop account to transfer files directly.
First, open the Showcase Workshop web app and click 'Files' in the top toolbar. This will take you to the File Library where you can manage your files.

Next, click the little cloud icon next to the big orange 'Upload' button. This will prompt you to enter your Dropbox log-in details.
Enter your Dropbox credentials and select the files you want to transfer. These files will then appear in your File Library, ready to be added to your presentations.
Once you've transferred your files, you can easily find them in a folder called 'Showcase Uploads' in your Dropbox account.
5 Steps to Redesigning Your Workflow
Redesigning your workflow can be a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be. Start by heading over to the Showcase page and clicking 'Create Showcase' to get started.
Dropbox Showcase offers five layouts to best reflect your project type, so you can choose the one that suits your needs.
You can add a title, your logo, a header image, and an introduction to give your clients a clear understanding of your project. These will appear on the email you send to clients too.
Showcase lets you upload your work from any source, with files appearing as big, bright previews.
You can add individual captions, new file names, and re-order/re-size images to tell the story you intended.
Showcase supports any file type that previews on Dropbox, including logo images, OTF typography explorations, and InDesign files.
Once you're happy with the content, it's time to share it. Just hit the 'Share' button on the top right of your screen and add in your clients' email.

Showcase and Files
You can transfer your files to Showcase Workshop from Dropbox by connecting your Dropbox account to your Showcase Workshop account and selecting the files you want to transfer.
To make the transfer process easier, you can click the little cloud icon next to the big orange 'Upload' button in the Showcase Workshop web app.
Your file(s) will appear in your File Library ready for you to add to your presentations.
The files you’ve uploaded to Dropbox Showcase will continue to exist in Dropbox after 31 January and can be found in a folder called ‘Showcase Uploads’.
Having a play with the alignment of files in Showcase is fun and really allows you to create a professional looking page of content.
Any type of file can be shown on Showcase except video files which, for now, can be presented only as a static image.
Dropbox will roll out a support for video files soon.
Analytics and Insights
Dropbox Showcase analytics are accessed inside the showcase by clicking a graph icon.
You can sort analytics by Files or Viewers, but unfortunately, there's no additional option here, nor can you add your own.
The analytics are fairly minimal, but they're great for tracking who reads/opens your content and what parts of your content are most popular.
You can filter under each file name or viewers, with options to filter by name or email address for viewers, and by title or filename for files.
You can see your total showcase views, comments, and downloads, but that's about it.
The analytics don't go into much depth, so if you need more detailed insights, you might be out of luck.
You can't export the data, which might be a limitation for some users.
